Agenda released for the world’s largest captive forum – Cayman Captive Forum 2024

George Town, Grand Cayman, October 02, 2024 – The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has announced the agenda for the Cayman Captive Forum 2024. Registration remains open, offering attendees access to world-class expertise and exceptional networking opportunities at the largest captive insurance event in the world.

“We are thrilled to once again bring the global industry together, along with key government officials and top professionals, at the world’s largest gathering of captive owners and service providers,” said Alanna Trundle, Chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee. “Cayman Captive Forum 2024 will deliver valuable insights into the changing legislative and regulatory landscape, the latest technological advancements shaping the industry, and other key trends influencing the captive marketplace.”

  • Chairperson’s Opening Remarks by Kieran Mehigan.
  • Welcome by the Hon. André Ebanks, Cayman Islands Deputy Premier and Minister for Financial Services & Commerce.
  • Opening keynote by Anthony Robles, the inspiring 2011 NCAA Wrestling Champion and 2012 National Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee, discussing his story “Unstoppable”.
  • Insurance Market Update, featuring Zeb Holt (Artex), Rob Collins (Guy Carpenter), Gigi Norris (Marsh), Dawn Hiestand (Zurich) and Martin Cooke (Hyperion).
  • Shaping the Future of Insurance: Women in Leadership, featuring Faith Dube (Nassau Re), Kara Ebanks (CIMA), Jessica Powell (Aon), Alanna Trundle (GCM), and Lisa Marecki (Arch Insurance Company).

  • Cybersecurity keynote by Jon Engstrom, discussing how to protect your organization from cyber-crime.
  • Benefits of being Prepared and Responding to a Deadly Crisis, a timely discussion amid the rise of crisis events.
  • Navigating Risk Control in the Era of AI, exploring how AI technologies are impacting risk management in captives.
  • Cultivating Healthy, Inclusive, and High-Performance Workplaces, addressing important workplace culture topics.
