The Cayman Islands’ group captive market continues to strengthen, with the number of individual members increasing from 9,963 at the end of 2024 to 11,838 by the end of 2025. These trends were explored in the latest Captive Intelligence Global Captive Podcast in partnership with IMAC, featuring Erin Brosnihan (Kensington Management Group), James Trundle (Global Captive Management) and Joni Steffen (Artex).

The discussion highlighted that Cayman’s growth is being driven by both the formation of new group captives and the expansion of existing programmes. Speakers attributed the jurisdiction’s success to its mature regulatory framework, deep industry expertise and collaborative financial services ecosystem, which together provide a strong foundation for sustainable growth.
