CICA 2018
We were delighted to attend Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) 2018 this month!
This was a fantastic opportunity to represent the Cayman Islands while engaging globally with the captive industry. There were a number of panel discussions on various industry trends; including some thoughtful insight as to how captives can aid evolving cyber risk and the medical marijuana industry.
Thank you to Ian Bridges, Liam Fleming, Lesley Thompson, Martin Cooke (and Simon Kilpatrick in the background) for forming the Cayman delegation!
Escapting Captive-ity
Last month we were excited to release speaker footage from our 2017 Cayman Captive Forum.
Be sure to take a break and listen to "Escaping Captive-ity: The Influence of Prices", with speakers Jack Meskunas, Myles Zyblock, Andy Baron and Hugh Barit.
If you were unable to attend last year's Cayman Captive Forum or missed any of the sessions, you can also catch the recordings of everything from 'Captive 101' to 'Cyber Risk, Patient Safety and Captives' on our website.

RIMS 2018
Next month we will be attending the world's leading risk conference, RIMS 2018 in San Antonio, Texas!
We're looking forward to three days of presentations by leading experts - they will share their expertise on trends and business strategies in the areas of claims management, enterprise risk management, insurance, legal legislation, strategic risk management and much more!
The conference will be held from April 15 - 18 and we are eager to meet those interested in Cayman as a jurisdiction, as well as say hello to some old faces.
Our both is #444 - right across from South Carolina Dept of Insurance, so if you are also attending, come find us and say hi!
